First review meeting has been held in Brussels

The first annual review meeting has been held in Brussels last 29th of November, 2013. The five partners involved in the project presented the advances and results at the end of the first year.

Luca Gammaitoni, from NiPS laboratory of the University of Perugia introduced the meeting giving an overview of the state of the project.

Following, the responsible of each Work Package (WP) presented the achievements and the status of each WP:

  • WP 1 Logic switch: classical and quantum modeling - Yasser Omar, Physics of Information Group, Instituto de Telecomunicações, Lisbon, Portugal
  • WP 2 Noisy computing - Igor Neri, NiPS laboratory, University of Perugia, Italy
  • WP 3 Nanomagnetic switches - Giovanni Carlotti, GHOST group, University of Perugia, Italy
  • WP 4 Nanomechanical switches - Warner Venstra, Technische Universiteit Delft, Netherlands
  • WP 5 Nanoelectronic stochastic logic gates - Lukas Worschech, Julius-Maximilians Universität Würzburg, Würzburg, Germany
  • WP 6 Dissemination, Collaboration and Exploitation - Silvia Lombardi, NiPS laboratory, University of Perugia, Italy
  • WP 7 Management - Silvia Lombardi, NiPS laboratory, University of Perugia, Italy

The three reviewers assigned to the project expressed a positive feedback on the project advances.

The review meeting has been coordinated by the Project Officer Andrea Feltrin.
